Order a device

You’ve decided to order a new device from Easy4u. We’re here to help you every step of the way.
 
Ordering is quick and straightforward. Your school or educational institution will provide you with a unique code, which you can find on the order flyer you received.
 
Simply enter this code on our order page to get started.
 
Once you’re on the order page, you can:
  • Choose the device and service plan that best suits your needs
  • Select your preferred payment method
  • Complete your order securely
 
If you haven’t received a code yet, or if your code isn’t working, please contact your school or educational institution. They will be able to direct you to the correct webshop.

Where can I find my order code?

Your school or educational institution will provide you with a unique code to place your order. You can find this code on the order flyer you received.
 
If you have not yet received a code, or if it is not working, please contact your school or educational institution. They will be able to guide you to the correct webshop.

What’s the difference between purchasing and renting?

Ownership
When you buy a device, it immediately becomes your property. When you rent a device, it remains the property of Easy4u for the duration of the contract. You pay a deposit in addition to monthly payments (equal to four monthly payments), which is returned at the end of the term if you return the device. If you choose to keep the device, the deposit is retained.
 
Payment
When you buy a device, you pay the full amount upfront; instalments are not available. When you rent a device, you pay a fixed monthly or yearly fee.

 

How long do I have to place my order?

The ordering period runs until 31 July. Orders placed by this date will be delivered in time for the start of the school year.
 
You can still place an order after 31 July, but please note that delivery may take up to 10 working days.

 

Check your order status

You can view the status of your device order anytime through your Easy4u account. Simply log in to your parent portal, and you’ll see updates on your order from processing to delivery.

Order accessories

When you order your device, you can also choose accessories such as a wireless mouse or an extra charger.
 
If you didn’t add these at the time but would like to order them later, don’t worry. You can easily do this through your Easy4u account. Simply log in and select ''Order an accessory'' to get started.

 

Can I cancel my order?

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day you receive your order. During this time, you can cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Easy4u Return Policy
We also allow returns up to 30 days after delivery, even if the 14-day cooling-off period has passed. After 30 days, it’s no longer possible to cancel or return your order.

What happens next:

  • Please contact Customer Support to request an order cancellation.
  • If you haven’t received your order yet, we will arrange the cancellation and send you a confirmation email.
  • If you have already received your order, we’ll send return instructions by email.
  • Refunds are processed once the item is returned.

Please note: if you have received your order, we ask that you do not leave the device at the school. Contact our Customer Support team — they will guide you through the process and next steps.

 

Questions about Delivery

When will my order be delivered?

You’ll receive an email a few days before your device is delivered. It will tell you how and when the delivery will happen.
 
Delivery will follow the arrangement agreed with your school or educational institution, so everything stays organised and on schedule.

Check your order status

You can view the status of your device order anytime through your Easy4u account. Simply log in to your parent portal, and you’ll see updates on your order from processing to delivery.

How will my order be delivered?

We have made arrangements with your school or educational institution for the delivery of your device. This can be done in three ways:
  • Collection at the school: Our friendly team will be onsite at the school and will hand the devices to pupils.
  • Delivery to the school: We deliver the devices, and the school will give them to the pupils.
  • Shipping to your home address: We send the device directly to your home.
Please note: it is not possible to select the delivery method yourself.
 
We’ll send you information about how your device will be delivered a few days before the delivery date.

Can my order be delivered early?

We have made arrangements with the school for delivery, and these dates cannot usually be changed. This means it is not normally possible to receive your device earlier.
 
However, if you would like to request an earlier delivery, please contact our Customer Support team. We will check whether this is possible, depending on stock availability and confirmation from the school.

What happens if I place my order after the school year starts?

For orders placed during the school year, we aim to dispatch the device within 10 working days, depending on stock availability.

What happens if I order after the cut-off date?

Orders placed after the cut-off date may not be delivered in time for the start of the school year. Depending on stock, we aim to dispatch the device within 10 working days.

What if my child cannot be present at the school for delivery?

If your son or daughter cannot be present at the delivery, that’s not a problem. The device will still be delivered to the school, and the school will hold it securely until it can be collected.

What does my Easy4u Service Plan cover?

Easy4u stands for security. With the Easy4u Service Plan, you can be confident that you never have to worry about your child’s laptop or accessories.
 
When you buy a laptop with the Easy4u package, you are covered for:
  • Hardware
  • Software - is software covered? We pre instal as per school, but not responsible for maintenance

Manage your Easy4u account

With an Easy4u account, you can manage almost everything related to the device. Through your account, you can quickly and easily:
  • Request a repair

  • Buy out your rental agreement

It happens to everyone. Please go to the Easy4u login page, then select ''Forgot your password?''. We will send you an email straight away so you can reset it.

 

Update your details

You can update your details quickly and easily. Log in to your Easy4u account. Once logged in, select ''Change my details'' and make any edits you need.

 

Questions about Repairs & Warranty

Report a repair

If the device or any accessories stop working, even when well looked after, don’t worry. You can request a repair quickly and easily through the Easy4u portal.
 
When the laptop is handed in at the school IT desk, the school will provide a loan device straight away to use while the original device is being repaired.

You can check the status of your repair at any time through your Easy4u portal.

What does a repair cost?

Your Easy4u assurance package covers the device for a quick and reliable repair. In many cases, repairs are free of charge, for example if the issue is due to a manufacturing fault or if the laptop stops working during normal use. If the laptop is damaged, for example if it has been dropped or exposed to liquid, an excess fee of £50 will apply. In rare cases where a device has been deliberately damaged, the full cost of the repair may be charged. Fortunately, this is very uncommon.

How long does a repair take?

If your laptop is not working, we understand that you want it back as quickly as possible.
 
In most cases, repairs take around 3 to 4 weeks from the time the device arrives with us. This may take longer if we are waiting for replacement parts, approval of a repair quote, or during particularly busy periods
 
With your Easy4u service plan, your child will receive a loan laptop while their device is being repaired, so they can keep up with their schoolwork.
 
When your repair is complete, we will notify you by email. In the meantime, you can check the status of your repair at any time through your Easy4u portal.

 

Report theft or loss

If the device is lost or theft is covered

Has your device been stolen or lost? We know this can be stressful. The Easy4u Service Plan includes theft insurance as standard. This applies if:
  • Your device has been stolen and there are signs of break-in or forced entry.
  • You have reported the incident to the police and have an official police report and crime reference number (we'll need a copy).

What the insurance covers:

  • A replacement device of a comparable model. This will never be an older model than the one that was stolen.
  • A charger and device sleeve with the replacement device.
  • An invoice for the excess of £50.

How it works
Report the theft to the police and obtain an official report. Log in to your Easy4u account and Select ''Report the theft or loss'' through your portal.

Please note: while your claim is being processed, your child will be provided with a loan device so they can continue their learning without interruption.


If the device is lost or theft is not covered

Purchased Device
If there are no signs of a break-in or forced entry, the cost of replacing the device isn't covered by the insurance. However, you can still order a replacement device from us. We’ll transfer your Easy4u Service Plan to the new device, so you won’t need to pay twice for your cover.

How to do this
Order a new device through your Easy4u account. Contact our Customer Support team to arrange the Service Plan transfer. We’ll take care of the rest.

Rented Device
If there are no signs of a break-in or forced entry, the cost of replacing the device isn't covered by the insurance.

However, depending on the current offer available through your child’s school, we may be able to provide a replacement through a rental option. To explore what’s available, please contact our Customer Support team, who will be happy to talk you through your options.

Please note: while we work with you to find the right solution, your regular instalment payments will continue to ensure there’s no disruption to your service. In the meantime, you’ll be provided with a loan device so your child can stay connected to their learning.

Questions about Products

Which laptops can I choose?

When you log in using the code provided by your school or educational institution, you will be taken directly to your personal webshop.
 
The devices shown have been selected by your school, so you can be confident that any device you choose will meet their requirements and be suitable for use in the classroom.

 

What is a Chromebook?

A Chromebook is a computer that comes with Google's Chrome OS operating system. The Chromebook takes only a few seconds to boot up and has built-in protection against viruses.

Unlike a normal computer, with a Chromebook everything is stored and processed in the Cloud, a kind of online server. With a Chromebook there is therefore, no local storage is needed.

Questions about Payment

Will I need to go through a credit check for a rental contract?

No, a credit check is not required.
 
We believe it’s important that all children can take part in digital education, so we’ve made sure that a credit check isn’t necessary.

 

Where can I find my invoices?

You can view and manage all invoices for your device through your Easy4u account:
  • Log in to your parent portal.
  • Go to ‘Invoices’ to see all past and current invoices.
  • You can download or print invoices as needed.
 
If you have any questions about an invoice, our customer support team will be happy to help.

 

Can I purchase the laptop and pay in installments?

It isn’t possible to pay for a purchased laptop in installments.
 
If you’d like to spread the cost, you could choose to rent the laptop instead. Rental payments can be made monthly or annually, giving you more flexibility.
 
When you buy a laptop, the full amount is paid upfront.

 

Questions about Easy4u Service Plan

How can I find my Service Plan end date and status?

You can easily check your Service Plan’s end date and current status in ''Subscription'' within your Easy4u portal. Here you will see when the contract started, the length of the contract, the end date, and whether your Service Plan is active.

 

What happens if my child leaves school?

When your child leaves school, you have a couple of options:
  • Stop the service plan early: if you’d like to end the service plan before the normal end date, please contact us and provide proof of deregistration, such as a transcript or written confirmation from the school.
  • Keep the service plan running: if you choose to continue the service plan, we can transfer it to a private account. Repairs will still be covered, but loan laptops will no longer be available while a repair is being carried out.
 
To continue using the device personally, please make sure the school has:
  • Removed your child from their systems
  • Reset the device so it’s ready for personal use

Pay off Easy4u Service Plan

If you’d like to pay off your Easy4u Service Plan, please follow the steps below:

  • Go to your Easy4u-portal.
  • Log in and select ''Pay off Service contract''.
  • You can then pay off your device online. Full details will be sent to you by email.

Please note that you cannot buy out your contract if you have an outstanding invoice. Once it has been paid, you can buy out the contract.

What happens when my Service Plan expires?

What happens when your Easy4u Service Plan expires depends on your situation:
  • If you bought the device: The device remains yours. Your service coverage ends, which means we will no longer be able to handle future repairs
  • If you rented the device: The device must be returned. If it is returned in good condition, your deposit will be refunded. If it is not in good condition, or you choose to keep the device, the deposit will not be refunded. Service coverage will end, and future repairs will no longer be handled by us.
 
You may be able to extend your Easy4u service for another year. If this option is available, we will contact you well before your Service Plan ends.

How can I end my Easy4u Service Plan early?

We understand that circumstances can change during your child’s time at school. If you need to end your Easy4y Service Plan early, we’ll do our best to support you, provided your request meets our criteria.
 
How to request this:
  • Submit your request through your parent portal account. Please don’t leave the device at the school, as the agreement is between you and Easy4u.
  • Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we’ll send you:
    • A prepaid returns label
    • Simple instructions for packaging the device and any accessories
    • Guidance on how to return everything to us
 
What happens next:
  • Once we receive the device, it will be checked for any damage
  • Normal wear and tear won’t be counted as damage
  • Please note: the initial deposit helps cover the costs of ending your plan early and is not returned in these circumstances.
